Heavenly white painted dressing table - shabby chic
These 1950s and 60s, Queen Anne dressing tables are often used as desks once the mirror's removed.
I've just painted this one in Autentico's Roman White chalk paint - but of course I've done some other stuff as well!!
I changed the hardware on the middle drawers...
Cute butterflies! I've given them the same gold-leaf finish.
I refurbished the original brass handles on the two side drawers.
Put gold boots on the legs...
And added some gilding around the dressing table before shabbying it up with sandpaper.
I'm going to be looking for a special mirror to hang on the wall above. When all the work's done, I've finished all the surfaces in a couple of coats of clear wax to seal and protect. Heavenly!!!
Oooh, I nearly forgot to say, I was at Kylie's again last night, la-la-la-la-la :-)
Only had my old iphone on me - she's such a doll x
