Painted Pine Table - Coastal Colours
I pick up a lot of pine furniture - this little table is a peach!
Here's how she started out...
She's an old pine table - opposed to a new 'yellow' pine. There's no varnish and if you look carefully, you can see the legs are all finished differently, so hand turned - crafted one at a time.
I decided to keep it light and started with a thin coat of duck egg blue all - Autentico call this chalk paint Troubled Waters. No trouble here though!
The colour has taken nicely giving some show through to the original pine and has been waxed with a clear wax.
The top had a the same, single coat and was then waxed with White Chalk Wax - I gave it three coats to make sure it's got lots of protection.
Et voila!! Lovely little table in coastal colours.
Can you see my 'No Paparazzi' doormat? They're selling like hot cakes :-)
